does anyone have info on how to deal with a lively horse? Stay calm and relaxed, if you tense up they will go faster, and try not to continuously hold them back, half halts, circles lateral work obviously if its like a lesson you can only do what the instructor tells you but get them listening to you not just following the horse in front.

Hey Twinkle
Relax and give the horse a bit of rein, light contact from the beginning. Often the more you gather them up the livelier they will be.
I am sure you will do really well, your nerves are making you look for problems before there is one... deep breath... you'll do great
Hugs jane

Thanks a lot you guys , i feel much better now ;D. I could kill my college . I had to go home early on monday as a girl in my class was of with a virus and other people in my class weren't feeling great and i started to panic as i have a fear of being ill , not so much colds just viruses , hopefully it will be gone by next monday. They are treating me as know i'm being a pain in the butt doing equine because i do equine on tuesday mornings which means i miss maths so i have to do it on a monday afternoon instead and i'm not sure there's any teachers available as monday afternoons agriculture for everybody else , i wish the other boy who's doing equine in my group would come back of holiday so i'm not the only pain in the butt lol. As for the boyswell all the boys at my college are muscly with big arms and realllllly nice bodys its like heaven and there's more boys than girls at my college , although the fit guys are in construction and horticulture and farming , its all the physical work that gives them the big bods and arms , all the boys in equine are good lucking but just like you i'm pretty sure there gay lol. Thanks for all the advice on lively horses i'll let you know how it goes ;D

Thanks brig ;D , well i could kill my college as today i rang up to double check my timetable and i have now been told different , so i am doing literacy and numeracy on the monday morning then i'm having to do agriculture in the afternoon which i didn't want to do but apparently i have to do it as its part of my animal care and then on tuesday i have to do equine in the morning which there not to sure i can do as i have to pass my riding assessment first and i wasn't in last week ( it sounded like a threat to me) and then small animal care in the afternoon , the reason being apparently the equine's extra and i had to do agri and animal care in the first place which she didn't tell me about although she's lying and said she did and i have the proof she didn't so if she throws it back in my face again i can request my folder which has the proof in it , so much for trust . So my mum and me are not happy as i feel i am going to be absolutley exhausted by the end of the week , does anyone else think its to much? luv twinksxxx

If you have doubts or worries about it you should talk to your personal tutor (if you have one) or another member of staff. It's there job to try and make college the easiest that it possibly can be. I've got next week's timetable and I'm already completely confuzzled lol and don't know where I'm going or what I'm doing and it can change every week here Good luck trying to sort it out. x
