I need to put Meena in kennels for a couple of days, how would I go about choosing one? She is a sensitive 'little' soul though and I don't want it to be trumatic for her - also she's a rottie x mastiff and I'm a little worried that they'll think she's nasty when in fact you couldn't get a soppier dog!

We found ours through recommendation and he loves it there, as soon as we let him out the car he's goes straight off without a care for us (which always makes me cry - I'm such a baby at times!). But the thing I liked about it most was they asked us what is routine was, what games we played with him and how many walks a day he had. And kept to it, plus it's an old sheep farm converted so the fields are huge for him to run around him.
The best thing to do is go and see a few or speak to other doggy friends and see what they recommend.

My Nan used to run kennels, always best to take one from reomendation if possible. If she is very sensitive she may not like the atmosphere they are very noisy!!!! Perhaps a friend would take care of her for a few days in a home environment?
