I appreciate fully that some people cannot always commit to sharing a horse so thought I would offer an alternative.........................would anyone be interested in hacking out maybe once a week/fortnight (or more) with me for a small contribution towards shoes etc...............say £7???
Cheaper than riding schools on either my TB mare or Haflinger both of which are 100% bombproof even in the heaviest of traffic.
It would help me out, two get ridden together and it may just suit someone perfectly.
PM if interested.

Aaahhh thanks racaille, glad somebody thinks its a good idea!
With the cost of shoes gone up (12%) and hay and feed it just seems a sensible solution to my two problems i.e. cost of neddies and keeping them fit.
Well anytime you fancy a trip to blighty come and visit the beautiful Norfolk broads and ill take you out for a hack by Ranworth Broad!!! ;D

Sounds really great Sam - I fancy your haffy! I've only ever ridden one and he was a real sweetie - safe but fun. I'm sure you'll get lots of takers though - it's a really inviting prospect for someone who doesn't own a horse, and terribly cheap too!

Oh that is a good idea! Very appealing as there'd be no problem with finding someone to ride with. I think you'll get a lot of interest.

Rupert is great fun to ride and like you say he is totally 100% safe, I love taking him across the stubble fields, you have to really ask him for a gallop but when he does you just feel like a naughty 12 year old!!! Great! Sam x

Haffy, I have just done a very similar thing with Chomps, and found someone to come out hacking with me, for £10 a week, have a look at your local gumtree website and do a search on horse, thats where I have found my 'not quite sharer' she comes up when she can, mainly at weekends and some evenings, helps me to clean all the tack and we go out for a nice chilled out ride on Brave and Chomps and it is really good for the pair of them and I enjoy the company.
