Yeeeeeeeeee Haaa! ;D
How exciting! Hope "it" (sorry, but you didn't let on if it's a mare or gelding!) Try Farriers Formula - expensive but a few people I know have used it and say it's really good.

i used a mix of seaweed and biotin, they worked well, though biotin does contain wieght loss properties , (its a slimming aid for people ) so if your horse is prone to losing wieght its not recommended

Farriers formula is very good stuff but expensive. Seaweed and rosehips are also good feet supplements and a bit cheaper.

The same mare was on farriers formula for a while, but I found it too expensive and didn't really see any major difference. I've found that cornucrescine (sp?) is more effective, than spending money on expensive additives, that said most people I know recommend farriers formula (I'm just a tight bum ;D)

We are using Kevin Bacon Hoof dressing twice a day on the new boy and my TB (who has very good feet thankyou very much!!! ;-)) and farriers formula. Only been using it for about five weeks and have seen a MASSIVE difference in both sets of feet. My TB is only having the hoof dressing!!!

scandinivian seaweed is cheap as chips and excellent for bad feet.
