sorry i've been offline for a few days...we had a lightening strike on the house, electrics and pc all went BOOM!!!! Thank God I'm back online now though, I've been going stir crazy!

OMG! glad everyone ok! i too am sick of this weather! got one horse with bad cracked heels and one with mud fever now! one of the other horses on yard has rain scald.

It certainly is very very wet- didnt do my first pleasure/endurance ride on Sun due to parking being a stubble lake/sorry meant to say field! Please please please can we have an Indian summer! Im emigrating if theres another one like this!

I was once struck by lightening..... Aaah, that explains a lot ;D indeed!! I was on the phone in a cafe where I was working at the time ( this is about 18 years ago) I had no idea that you should not be on the phone during a lightning storm. Anyway so there was me chatting away to Walkers shortbread order line ( we had a lot of tourists) when I sudeenly heard a very loud bang, a large blue light came out the phone and I was thrown out the chair and across the room. It was like a cartoon all my hair was static and I was deaf! It had a long term effect in that the hearing in my right ear is half what the hearing in my left ear is.... and of course there is the small matter of my superpowers........................................
