For the first test, im thinking prelim 4, but for you dressagers, what does novice 25 ride like?
Second tests, which two should i do? Im favouring novice 21 cos i like the test, but having never ridden either prelims or the novice 20, what do they ride like?

Maes Seren is Welsh for Meadow Star/My Star. Its pronounced 'my's seren' Its Gems registered name (not that shes welsh or anything, she was born there but is conny x tb).
I used adobe photoshop elements to do my heads. ;D

I like Prelim 7, nice and easy, not too many rapid transitions to try to remember, I don't know about the others though.
Chompy and I are doing Prelim 7 tonight as our 1st ever dressage comp...

I do like prelim 7 as a test but its sooooooo long since I did novice I'm not sure what 21 is - in fact it is not even in my booklet so is it a new one?

Ok, ill do prelim 7. Not done it for a while.
21 is a 2002 test, its one of the more basic tests. 20 is a 2008 test, which has 12m circles eugh!

7 is good, i like 4 too.
however, i dont like prelim 1 (its scheduled for next dressage comp, eugh) theres lots of canter in it (over a full lap!) which just doesnt suit us,we hav a nice, balanced, rhythmical trot and walk, but canter always lets us down!
depends on the horse, which gaits are her best? x

Prelims 13 and 14 are a bit 'messy' and don't really flow that well. Out of the two, I'd go with 14, but that's because there is only a little left canter and my horse's left canter is naff!

Only just seen this, handed in my sheet today and have chosen P7, P13 and N21. Also have P12 next saturday too, which ive never ridden before but i like the look of as theres not a long centreline at the end!
