No, you're not. She is. Once you've committed to something like this, it's grossly unfair to leave others in the lurch unless there's a really good reason. If they can't afford it now, then they couldn't when they agreed to move in, so that is not a good reason! So, deep breath, more work for you just when you don't need it. Prepare some ads straight away and put them on the uni notice board. If people apply that you don't know, you're going to have to vet them carefully. It sounds like very good place with all those bathrooms so I think you'll find someone quickly. Good luck!

What is the point in arranging to move into a house that has just been decorated with 3 bathrooms, down stairs loo, 2 kitchens and all the mod cons! For 3 out 7 people to pull out?  ok we have replaced one with a good friend but still! We move in on Wednesday and a friend has only just turned around and sad she aint moving in... I have tried to be nice and polite but I want to yell!! Am I a bitch?  No you can't yell  (unless you're in the noisy hole ;D) Chin up old girl, it will sort out. At least you've got a downstairs loo, that isn't outside  ;D |
