Sorry - I have removed the H&H thread. I would hate to go on another forum and find a comment about the paddocks - Id be well upset, and probably join and have a right go - really dont want that on here! Its not an easy topic to have as many of us are not members of H&H forum and so it woudl be hard to comment. Your sister is more than welcome to come here though if she wants to Sorry

Thanks slinks...I do think this forum tries to be as nice as poss ;D
Prasygow, I dont think we need to make a 'rule' for this, as each situation is totally different (eg Flash and her being ripped apart on the US forum was acceptable to vent here, because we were given the link and could judge for ourselves etc).
However, as a general rule of thumb, personal comments about members as individuals or as a whole from another forum can be inflamatory and not appropriate to put on a different forum. Common sense determines whether what you put is ok - if it aint, we will politely say, and hope no personal offence is taken by the member, as none is meant!!!
;D ;D

i am in total agreement! if you want a bitch fight then go some where else! the paddocks is mellow and if any one has a problem then it is pm'd to them and not slagged across a forum! I think that is the way it should be kept

really? oh sorry, thought you were asking it as an actual question... Its hard to determine jokes from serious comments when they are in type, I fell foul of this with another member so try to use smilies to show that I mean no offence etc. Also I like this forum, I joined because I like the community of people I chat with, I dont want to be part of a forum that is at loggerheads with another forum, or where there is an atmosphere of bitchiness or backstabbing, ive worked with people like that and now choose not to. If a comment offends please pm the person concerned- it could simply be a misunderstanding! Notwithstanding that some peoples opinions may be strong or inflexible- offence shouldnt be taken, we are all of sufficient intelligence to know that we can choose to agree or disagree or take advice or leave it, and if we dont like someones overall stance then we can choose not to read/partake in their posts in general, what we shouldnt do is make it personal- thats childish and can only lead to mischief! Sorry about the rant- but I am a mother! And cant help myself! Lecture over ;D

Nicely said Brig. I agree The Paddocks is a fantastic place to be because we're all just so relaxed and can chat aobut all sorts of things. Now I don't know about you, but does anyone remember the whole HD episode over on the old YH forum? That was horrid. So many people left the forum (myself included) because of that idiot, yet we did return on the off-chance that thing might have settled down (which they did eventually, but only after drastic measures and plenty of complaints to the mods about he/she-who-shall-not-be-named) and the atmosphere on there was extrememly sharp for ages after they had been banned. I for one would hate for that atmosphere to occur here so I'll do what I can to prevent it. I actually regret ever getting involved in such a stupid ordeal, and by us all getting wound up actually spurred him/her on and made the whole situation worse. So like Brig said - if you don't like something, PM the member who wrote it or just don't get involved. Again, no offence meant in any way, shape or form - just a personal experience that I do not wish to repeat. Happy posting ;D

I briefly joined YH forum but followed you guys when you set this forum up. I think it is a really nice, frindly fun forum always ready to give out help and information managed superbly by the moderators. I think one of nicest shows of friendship as been to Flashy recently. I actully had tears in my eyes reading the offers of places to go and stay and the support from the forum. It is lways a pleasure to come on and learn but most of all laugh at what you guys say - very embarrsing when laughing out loud sat in open planned office. I also go on HHO but have got to say this forum wins hands down. 3 Cheers for Paddock forum and all that come on here "HIP HIP HOOOORRRRRAYYYYYYYYY"
