Hi , sorry i lost the site again , our damn computer i must write it down. Hope you are all well and your horses are as well . I've been a bit frantic the last thew weeks , first my information for when i start college and what i need hadn't come i was on panic station ringing up the college to see what the hell was going on , then it finally arrived and its only a thew weeks till i start and i haven't got what i need and there's so much i do need and i'm having trouble figuring out what brands to go with for riding gear . So in a nutshell i'm losing my mind, i've got a pounding headache from the stress AAAAARGH!

Yeah, I wish I'd gone to college too! Take a deep breath Twinkle and write a list of everything you need. If you rush around in a panic, you're going to forget something. Also, don't worry about brands. Choose rding gear on what fits and looks best. It's no good going for a certain name and then not wearing it because it's too uncomfortable.

Hey!!! Missed you! Sounds like tis been a frantic where you are...me too actually - trying to get everything ready for uni is a pain i the bum, ubt then finding out that I'm not even on the database for accommodation completely sent me off the rails! Hopefully I'm on now, but its still onyl about 3 weeks until I'm supposed to move in so I hope they've got space!!!! As for stuff for college, what is it that you need? Write a list and it will help get things straight in your head. Hope you manage to get everything sorted soon (where abouts are you going for college by the way?) and I'm glad you're back Oh, and about losing the address of this site...why not send it to yourself in an email then just find the email when you lose the site??

Hi spottilover , missed you to ;D, sounds like everythings been frantic with you as well , i know how you feel with going of the rails lol, well i got some jodhpurs today now it just depends if they fit , i need chaps , some riding tops and a new riding hat as my one's three years old now so i'd better be safe than sorry and i just need regular clothes as well , i'm going to warwickshire college the moreton morrel campus , i'm not living in which i suppose is a weight of my shoulders , where are you going?

I'm off to Lincoln uni to my animal behaviour degree (excited!!!). I'm living there, but apparently I don't yet have a house!!! Whooops. Jodhs are always fun. Actually, any horsey shopping is...have you tried the robinsons website for horsey gear?? They've got a sale on at the mo (I'll have a look when it ends) and you never know, you could just find a bargain! Lol about the hat - always better to be safe than sorry I think. Chaps - me too! I've needed new chaps for about 2 years now but still can't find any I like (I want some exactly the same as the ones I've got because theyre so comfy and fit so well, but I have this feeling that they don't sell them anymore... ) Regular clothes-wise I've been practically living in Primark - I love that place! Otherwise I've just been buying jeans and t-shirts and a few jumpers (I'll be in my jodhs most of the time anyway!) Hope you get sorted soon...when do you start? Mine starts in about 3 weeks (15th september....ooo eerrrrr!)

Oh, and brand-wise...Harry hall are good, but like florence said, it's about how it fits and how good you feel in it! Also, have you thought about a body protector? They're genius and have saved my back more times than I'd like to remember I'll shut up now...

No need to shut up spottilover if you speak more than i do its a miracle lol. I'm starting on the 10th september , i'm freaking out a bit , but i guess we all are really , i mean uni's much bigger than college , good luck with your degree i'm sure you will pass with flying colours and have loads of fun with your horse ( sorry i've forgotten her name, there's so many horses on here) . I looked on the robinsons website , i love requisite jodhpurs but i have wide hips and i found a lovely pair of mountain horse one's designed for the fuller figure so they should be more comfortable . As for the chaps its trying to get one's that are the right measurement on calf and length , i found a pair i absolutely love but they only do them in regular length which is 141/2 inch leg and i'm now bigger than 15 inch, so i'm stuck , I'd like real leather as that warms up the horses sides better in the winter so there more responsive and they last longer . I was going to try primemark actually , the girls who live couple doors down from me wear clothes from there , do they sell clothes that would be suitable to get horse muck and cow muck on , i'll be wearing overalls but its better to be safer than sorry , don't want to ruin nice clothes. Actually i have had a sigh of relief concerning the overalls , i will be wearing navy instead of the dreaded green i thought i'd have to be wearing lol. ;D
p.s i have a feeling your horses name begins with f?

Primark sell everything! Well, most things. Personally, they sell stuff so cheap that itrealy doesn't matter if you wreck it because you can just go and get another one! I mean, a top for £4??
