What an amazing woman Mary King is. she is within one jump of going into the lead at badminton and falls and what does she do? She stands up, waves to the crowd and smiles giving Imperial Cavalier a great big pat.
compare with Paul Tapner whose horse stumbled and had a little stop and when he gets off he ignores the horse and starts laying into the ground with his whip yelling etc in front of the cameras. Disgracful conduct.
what an amazing exciting badders!

i love mary king, we are all going to have to email her telling her how great she is.
i love the way she grins all the way round the course, no matter how badly its going, she's enjoying it, which is what its all about. that is SO good of her to give him a big pat and smile! xx

what a worthy winner in Nicolas Touzaint! he has always believed in Hidalgo who is not easy and his faith has been paid off.
I was in buckets of tears watching him sobbing into the horses neck as he cuddled him after winning!

I missed it all of course as I do every year- don't have sky or anything and am usually out riding anyway. Anyway checked up the web site and it sounded fantastic- would love to have seen especially the x country which sounded really tough

Mary King is a fantastic horsewoman - i once saw her, and when i asked for an autograph she was all to happy to give me one and a few tips along the way. The man embarrased himself dreadfully.
