I took Beau to pony camp on Sunday for 5 days ad he absolutely loved it! We raced the instructors car to see how many mph we could go (we went at an amazing 35mph), we went to do xc and we jumped all different types of fences from 2" to just over 3", although there was a few Beaubies wasn't sure of. We practiced our jumping of fillers, spreads, doubles, triples and oxers ready for our show at the end of the week. We also learnt a dressage test and one of the instuctors judged all of us, but Beau and I didn't win as dressage isn't our speciality. Then on the last morning we were awarded some great trophies, and Beau and I won a most improved trophie which we were both very pleased about. Just thought I would tell you guys what I got up to on my week away.

Well done, most improved rider is a fantastic one to win as there is just so much competition.

rosettes for me
carrots for savs
and two bags of dirty washing for mum hehe
pony camp was great

Sooooo envious! It's just the sort of thing I would have liked to do, but sadly I didn't really start riding until I was already an old fart...
Well, maybe that's an idea - horse camp for old farts who like a glass of rosé in the evenings! Anyone up for it?

they do those over here racaille maybe come for a hol and paco can stay with me  i think i know someone that does them as well, but generally it's riding clubs |

Gymkhana games and chase me charlie all washed down with a nice glass of voddy round the camp fire whilst toasting marshmallows. Oh hang on don't have a neddy for gymkhana - can someone lend me one?? I'd take good care of it....
