Went XC schooling last saturday with harry with the aim of me getting over my phobia of ditches - harry isn't bothered untill i stare into them lol! Well he was an angel, we did wide ditcheds ditches infront and behind fences so misson complete! Anyway dad took some photos of some of the fences so here they are! Look at the terror on my face lol. it was my first time ever jumping into water rather than just a drop lol. The drop on the other side was huge lol  A different drop into water - again face looks odd!  Jumping the 'Wish Bone' as i call it  Big hedge for lickle pony  Log  Dad made me try this one, it was rather scary. about a 3ft fence stright to a steep slope, it was steeper than it looks!   A Chair  A Corner (took of a littler earlier than i expected!)  Gallop home  'Are we done then mum'  |

He is 14.1 Welsh Cob, who is 16yrs old now - just never acts it lol!

Wow what a fab little pony! Your face expressions are great ;D camera never lies!!! You have a fantastic position over the fences and you must be so proud of yourself!  I'm just totally gutted that I didnt take my camera on wednesday as I too had a great XC training day, first time my haffy rupert has ever seen XC jumps and bless him he jumped them all!! My mare was amazing too and it was like going back in time to 9 years ago when I competed. I have entered a XC a week on sunday so hopefully we will go clear! fingers crossed. Sam xx |

Love the faces too..made me smile! I always look like I'm about to commit a murder while I'm riding lol Its the concentration honest!

a) the pics are great, you jump beautifully and have a right little star of a pony
b) you can definately see how steap that slope is and
c) i think i wee'd a little seeing your face after clearing the log/slope! haha

Fantastic, you are a brilliant jumper and your pony is wonderful. I wish I was as brave as you and know that I would be crying for my mum doing those jumps.

I lvoe that one where you're coming away from the mushroomy jump too...your face is saying "Wheee! We did it!"
Harry is fantastic and such a superstar and so very brave. And you're brave too for jumping some of those rather scary looking jumps (I'd love to have a go at XC one day. I know I'll be pooping my pants the whole way round but enjoy it all the same!)
Well done and glad oyu had fun. Oh and tell your dad he's really good with a camera!
