Sorry, no idea what it would be called in UK but I am over the moon because we jumped one! The trainer put a smallish jump on top of a small, steep hillock so that you had to canter up, jump, and immediately descend to another jump. OMG.
But Paco was fab - skipped out the first time (my slow reactions again!) but the second time I kept my legs on and stopped him bunking off and hey presto! We did one for the first time! (I am not very brave at x country). I am so proud of him, the "horse that would never jump"! ;D
He's as fit as a flea for the Trec on Sunday (but we won't get such a complicated jump in the PTV). He's having a day off tomorrow and then ... who knows? The weather forecast is hot and sunny so at least we'll have a nice day out.

aww well done! not really sure what thats called here, do you speak f;luent french then? i had my GCSE oral french exam yesterday, was horrible!

I feel for you Abi, I have a French exam this month and I'm soooo dreading it. And it lasts all day.... I wouldn't describe myself as fluent as that, to me, implies no/very few mistakes! LOL! I make millions! The most annoying thing, though, is that I am having to 'unlearn' all the slang and bad habits I have picked up by learning to speak French 'by ear'. Wish I'd studied harder at school ....

is probably a bank, we have one that we call "the roller coaster", its two logs, a big dip, a big slope up, a log on an upwards slope and then a log on a downwards slope! it looks really scary but is actually lots of fun!makes a sort of S shape from the side.

Sounds good fun. I would give you a karma if i could but my ability to exalt and smite has been removed- don;t know why!! very strange. Don't envy you the exams but good luck in them. However you have the Le Trec too- looking forward to hearing how that goes
