anyone know any excersises to train toes more inwards?
had a good criticism on my own position earlier and although theyre not penguin-style theyre still further out than they should be - im a perfectionist!
anyone help? x

Hi- when you are stood off the horse do your feet splay outwards? If so its the way you are put together- just try to ensure you knee is flat against the saddle with no tension and your thigh is relaxed- if you are trying to force your toes in your seat will be compromised so you need to check your bum/seat and leg position first, if everything is nice and relaxed then simply turn your toes in a little and keep repeating- eventually your brain will remember to do it unconciously. A good reminder is to put a plait in your horses mane and everytime you notice it it will remind you to turn your toes! bit like a knot in a hanky but you dont lose the hanky!! brig

think of having your little toe pointing forward but dont try too hard or you will become tense.
corrective surgery?

haha maxi! I think riders should have free surgery to put us in perfect position all the time! Would make going shopping etc quite hard though!!!!!
