Doof has a lump on her ear. Its at the base and is about 0.5 cm across and the same out. She's had it a few weeks. Doesn't seem to hurt her when I touch it. It's very hard. Only thing is when I looked last night it looks as though another ones starting to grow next to it (tiny at the moment). Do you think I should get the vet to look at it. I have no idea what it could be - Looks like a very small sarcoid. Will try and get a pic.

if it was just the one and it wasn't growing i would say no but since you have noticed another one appear i would keep an eye on it and if it keeps growing definately call the vet to check it out

savvy had one just the same, same place the vet checked it and said just to keep an eye on it and if it grows or changes colour and she'll whip it off and test it to see what it is`

It doesn't seem to be growing. The small one hasn't grown anymore either. It has gone a bit scabby now though but I think thats probably flies getting at it. I've smothered it in antiseptic fly repellent gel.

If it is causing her no pain and isn't changing shape or size i would say leave it and it will probably go on it's own. have a look on the sarcoid thread i think i posted a link, see if it looks like any thing on that site maybe?

Vet fees are very expensive, but peace of mind is priceless.
