Every year mum sends me down to a place called Newmarket for a holiday. She said it's because my heart has a murmur, but no matter how heard I listen I can never hear what it's saying. I do wish they'd tell me - just incase its something important.
Mum popped me on the lorry. This year we had a shiney new one, but I think she got it wrong as I was standing backwards and my bum was almost poking through the window into the cab.
I get to stay in a very posh stable and have lots of people look after me. Sometimes they strap cold things onto me though and it makes me jump. Mum said its to listen to my heart - think they are trying to work out what it's saying too.
They let me run really fast down the gallops and pretend to be a race horse, I don't really know why but I think its very fun. We have to warm up in a big school first and I'm always very excited as I know where I'm going afterwards.
Then for a few days I have to stay in my stable while about 30 poeple crowd round me and a few other horses and poke and prod us with cold things. Most of the other horses are naughty and have to have a horrible injection to make them calm down - but I just go to sleep until its all over.
The horse doctor Leslie always moans becasue its more difficult to get videos of my heart as I'm so big. She takes lots of pictures too. I was scared when they said they needed pictures of my heart but it doesn't hurt. They put cold jelly on me and poke me with a probe. Some of the pictures have lots of pretty colours on them - I like them but mum says they colours aren't meant to be there! The pictures don't look like a heart to me, but everyone seems very interested in them.

Then after a day off of rest and lots of hay and cuddles from all the people, mum comes to get me. She put me in the lorry backwards again - silly mum.
