And it's bad news for Paco Had a lesson this afternoon (super spooky, huge mistral blowing, fighter jets within touching distance overhead it seemed and then a tractor arrived at the other end of a field which was, in Paco's eyes, the last straw....) In between the strops he was doing some really nice stuff and then my coach broke it to me .... she thinks I should not retire him yet. She said it seemed a shame to stop just when he is really getting somewhere. She said (blushing here ) that we have both made great progress in the last year and that I should get him out to a dressage comp next season. I haven't told him yet!
