Took Floss and Cat her rider to Port Royal to do her first dressage test today (Intro A). Despite the torrential rain and the snow she won! The judge was a BD judge and her comments were spot on! Very very pleased. The squeals you can hear in the video are Floss. She was like a little pig going round! They got 65.8

She is a very pretty girl, love her to bits. Going to struggle to let her go............ wish she was a couple inches bigger and longer! Or I could lose four stone!

Lovely test, they made it look easy. Floss is a very smart pony and I can see why you wouldn't want to let her go. How big is she? Is Port Royal local to you? I've been a couple of times but it's quite a hike for us.

I'm five minutes away Zara- literally! I could also hack there on the back roads in the summer if I wanted. She is 14.3 but short coupled so only takes a small saddle. Unfortunately Im just too big. Im not fat as in big belly but Im really solid so I pack a lot of weight in. I put two stone on last year just through inactivity and frustration over my finger injury hence me getting someone in to ride her as I was at top of her weight limit as it was. Harriet and Welly are fine as Harriet is a box and I can get a slightly bigger saddle on her and Welly could take another three stone!!! I must lose weight so I think I will give weight watchers a try. Im wondering about a PC or RC loan for Floss so she gets the exposure but can come back to me later if I shed the pounds as she is versatile. If Toudle goes on loan as planned in summer then Floss can stay no prob. Except OH is now thinking she may be worth something and the insidious little comments have started. Men eh- horses are far simpler!
