Hi Everyone Just want to check in and say Hi. Debbie and I are till riding like crazy - and coming 26 doesn't seem to phase her at all. She seems to be going from strength to strength. www.flickr.com/photos/102535039@N03/24323645675/in/dateposted-public/Can't remember how to upload pictures from Flickr unfortunately but hopefully I will work out something. Just worked out if you click the link above you can see some more pics of Deb and some of our rides out. I hope everyone is well and happy and enjoying their neddies too. All the Best jane

Hi Jane. Welcome back ! You have a beautiful part of the world there in Wales. Lovely to hear Debbie is still going well. How do you manage her arthritis now?

Hi Jane, so nice to see you back! Very interested to hear how Debs is going - I have been thinking of retiring Paco who will be 20 this spring but maybe he could keep going for a while longer!

Aw so nice to see everyone is still here.
Sol - I don't do a lot for the arthritis any more. She gets half a bute before riding - really to stop her stiffening up afterwards - she lives out 24/7 and is she is really fit - we do rides of about 10 - 12 miles or on a good day 17-20, obviously there is a lot of hill work and I think keeping her weight stable as well as the fitness is what is keeping her going.

Debs looks super fit! What bit is that? We are bitless now but not seen one like that. So envious of your hacking. :-)

Hi Sol, the bit is a globe pelham - she goes nicely in it.
I have used this for a couple of years now, it has a straight bar with a small port. She seems to prefer the straight bar, but to be honest she goes well in anything. I like to play with bits, the only one she seemed to dislike was a kimblewick - they are heavy old things though.
