I was so shocked and so sorry to hear that David Bowie has passed away this morning. I was brought up listening to him by my elder Sister and I love his work. He never failed to impress and shock; a true legend.

I hate cancer :-(. David Bowie has left a huge gap in many people's lives.

Sounds like your reaction was exactly the same as mine Zara. I had no idea that he was unwell, it was a real shock and I was surprised at my own sadness. RIP and farewell to a true legend.

He lived his life as he wanted to and had complete control of the privacy of his death. Amazing. RIP a truly individual and amazing man.

I was quite shocked this morning when I flicked the news on this morning. Very sad to hear of someone so very special passing away.
