My fields are so wet at the moment Im not doing any field turnout for the three stabled horses. Consequently Toudle gets to play nanny to Harriet and Welly in the school. When he is with Harriet he spends all his time keeping out of the way as the school runs along the winter field and Harriet NEEDS to be near Floss! But when he is in with Welly boy do they play hard. Lots of rearing and galloping and teeth jousting. Its fun to watch but a bit hair raising at times. Usually Basil will come to the fence side and joust also, I think the 24/7 turnout is suiting him as he has less mad gallops and seems pretty chilled, if a bit grumpy when the hay comes round.
But back to the point I love watching them play, even if their rugs do get ripped occasionally (I turnout Toudle without now for that very reason) but still have some sewing to do today!

Ha ha, know what you mean about camera shyness! I love watching horses usually geldings play, Pete's lot don't really bother. Heart in the mouth stuff sometimes though!

I love watching it too. Pocholo is very playful in the field, whereas Indio just wants to eat! I did spot him having a brief buck and kick in there on Saturday but it was very brief ;-)

I love to watch them play too. I think Pen was a bit shocked how rough and uncouth my boys were at first!
Harry is a prize pain, and age shows no signs of making him grow up, when anyone rolls he will, without fail, try to dive/leap on them, he pulls the tail flaps on murph's rugs and is just generally irritating. The boys also have a nasty habit of involving me in their games, i was trying to poo pick this morning and the buggers were prating about and trying to leap on me, or galloping past bucking. Not Fun! But worked as i ended up giving them more hay to save my skin.
