I have no power near my school and since I can no longer ride after Abi is in bed (too dark now) I have been thinking about what I can do the light up the arena or at least half.

The proper telescopic lights on batteries are upwards of £400 each?

so I wondered if a couple of these £50 50W work lights might be enough to illuminate at least part of the school even if it's only for flat work.

I think my lights are 50w and easily do 3/4 of the arena but do cause shadows so not really suitable for jumping. 4 of these might work well (one in each corner?) Doesnt say if they are waterproof so you may need to find a sheltered place to situate them in case it rains whilst you are riding as even a little water ingress may cause them to seize up. If you do buy let me know how it goes as these may be a good back up for me also.
