Pete has huge bite in saddle area. What's best to treat? Aloe Vera witch hazel or a smidge of steroid cream? Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming this is what we call a taon bite - large, hot, itchy lump? I don't treat the horse, they disappear in 24 hours but I don't remember ever seeing one in the saddle area, more often on the rump. I treat them if I get one though!

Large dollop of antihistamine.
