Just got the times through for the TREC on Sunday. I have a late-ish start which is good but means that the driving carriages will have already taken up all the parking space There are also a million littlies (yuk) taking part in the Handi TREC - no idea what that is. But my grumble is really that I am the only individual in my class of 'individuals', all the others are pairs, which is a heck of a lot easier as one person reads the map and the other looks out for the markers. I have also done something nasty to my right elbow which is agony. My OH's clever solution was to strap it up until I pointed out that I would be pretty rubbish riding one-armed. I keep telling myself: do NOT get competitive, this is fun. FUN!

FUN!!! FUN!!! (Just to help you remember ) It seems very unfair that the 'individual' class is full of pairs On the other hand, imagine how satisfying it will be to beat a few of them!

echo Pboy- you know you will be better than most- they are doing it in pairs as they are nervous! What on earth have you done to your elbow? Get that voltarol gel on it in vast quantities!

I don't know Brig, it started after a day of fencing, knocking steel posts into hard ground and then got a lot worse ... when? I am forever injuring myself and forget what happened where ... I am notoriously clumsy and always covered in bruises. Yup, didn't think of drugs - I usually say; Man up! But what a good idea this time! But of course you are right about the competition , I do get hyper-competitive which is why I stress so much. Calm down, calm down!

They are also proposing a TREC camp in the summer which i would love to take murphy to if he gets up to speed - excited just thinking about it!
