That's the one I've got and I'd vouch for it, it is really comfy and really does sort out your position. It has also sorted out the teenager's legs which have a tendency to wander forwards (all those years of defence on mad Rackers :

Is the wintec not banana shaped? I'm after something more conventional for Pen in order to potentially show her but i've heard the wintecs are generally not great (or wide enough) for natives with flat backs and my experiences are of them being banana shaped...but this was way back now of course.
I'd really like a flexee but it needs to be max of 16" and they seem to be like hens teeth.

Harriet is flat backed although not thru the wither, more the fat around her girth. Haff I agree about the wintecs- I think my 2000 affected Basil greatly and although it fit Harriet she got a sore back with it. Also it didn't help my position. I have slightly wonky hips in that they tend to tip me forwards- now all my trainers and riding instructors have always nagged me to get my shoulders back- but when I do I cant move the next day (literally) but Ive finally (with J my son's riding instructor) realised my hips need to come forwards and the IW saddle does this for me, he was so impressed the other day he thought Id had physio- as well as the horses (I wish) so I think it is a saddle to try and it will always re-sell if it doesn't fit as these are also like hens teeth!

Bates and wintec's are slightly banana shaped so wouldn't do for me, there is also the issue some people find with the changeable gullet bar which is also not straight and has a kink in it. Good saddles if the tree fits your horse and the gullet doesn't cause any pressure points.
