Quite simply- this is the most concise and informative guide for anyone riding and wishing to help and encourage their horse to carry them effectively. The comparative yoga stretches help understanding. Im really pleased that two out of the four exercises are staples of my schooling despite having received criticism for persisting in them. The reason I used them?- The horse always felt better for it, so Im over the moon in that respect. I know a few of you will be really interested so read on (its not too long or wordy!) bevet.com/files/introductiontocorecorrection.pdf

Really interesting! I wonder is this Murphys problem? He's crap at stretching though never tried long and low or stretching when ridden but we always got marked down for our free walk. Maybe he had a tight back and then the injury brought it out or something. He always collected himself up nicely though and seemed to have good stomach muscles. hard to know! But funny its made me think that if I had another horse I would definitely do more stretching although was thinking more of groundwork.

Really interesting and well written for the likes of me and yes I do already use a couple of these methods but will try and include more. It's now in my favourates bar so I can read up on it when hopefully The Dude it back in work.
