Hi. My mate leans on the bit badly. I've been lunging her in a passoa but just thought would it b better to lunge her in side reins instead? What r ur thoughts?

Don't think lungeing would be much benefit tbh. I'd work on the flatwork schooling, loads of transitions so she's responding bang on every time.

I'm not a fan of lunging at any time but if I have to I would use 2 lines or side reins; I generally don't like any gadgets. My preferred option for this would be schooling and I wold work on direct transitions, quarter turns and getting her to go forward off your leg.

Hearing lots of good things about the equi-ami as opposed to pessoa. Can help with leaning.
