oooh it means you can put a vid on here without just linking to it so it will play on ere i think... I dont really do you tube so someone else will have to try.. *is this where everyone tells me this buttons been here for ages and you all been using it?*  |

Ooooooo I've sussed it! The 'tube' button links you to youtube so you can watch youtube videos on the forum, without having to go to youtube itself! No idea why the advert thing is there though...
To use it, click on the 'tube' button, a code like this comes up
Click in between the square brackets, i.e. between ] and [
Go on youtube and find your video
Below the video, there's a thing that says 'share, favourite, playlist, flag' - click on share.
There are then options to 'send video, myspace, facebook, or more share options' - click on 'more share options'
A selection of share options appears. Go on the second box down (where it says' copy and paste this link into an email or instant message') and do as it says...copy and paste it!
Paste the code in between the square brackets that separate
Your code should look like this (minus the spaces)
[video src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= code that has been copied and pasted from below the video on youtube "][/video]

Sav, re the 'tube' button, when you click 'reply and you can put all the smileys and stuff in...theres a button (red) on the second line that says 'tube' on it

you need the word youtube in square brakets in front of the code...like this [ y o u t u b e ] code from below video [ / y o u t u b e ] but without all the spaces...

I just tried making a guide, like I did a while back for putting photos on YH, but have given up because my computer is being silly and won't keep the pictures in the places I put them!
