Well before winter sets in I thought I should take The Dude for his first dressage test (Intro), only been in an indoor once before and our first ridden comp as the couple of shows we have done have been inhand. I really couldn't be more pleased with the big chap he worked in with other horses brilliantly and after 2-3 minutes was concentrating on what I was asking, went into the indoor and yes he was having a look and a spook but when the bell went he got down to it and only spooked slightly once at the judges car other than that produced a fairly accurate test soft and in the most supple. He came 2nd out of 6 scoring 68% yeahhh! I got lots of lovely comments as well about his behaviour and relaxed manner from the ladies running it so all in all chuffed.

Well done, fab score and so nice to get positive feedback on him too.
Is Intro like the walk/trot tests or something else entirely?

Fantastic, well done! I love how he continues to live up to his name Haffyfan - 'Introductory' is the official name for the walk / trot tests, you get Intro A and Intro B. Some of the moves are quite advanced really, such as changing the rein with two half-10m circles across X, I don't think you get that again until Novice!
