So after an amazingly fun summer of dressage, the BD Team Quest has come to an end. My team finished in 37th place. Out of over 400 teams (though granted some only competed once or twice) we are thrilled. None of us are dressage riders and we have only made it out a handful of times compared to those in the top spots.
I've competed places I'd never have dared venture to before but wherever we've been its been such a lovely atmosphere. We've had laughs, tears, highs, lows and even falls but throughout it all the most amazing fun (and food and wine picnics!!) and it's really created a bond through the yard.
Next year BD are discussing introducing regional finals to make it fair for those with less venues nearby to compete at. I would thoroughly recommended anyone to get a team together and give this a go.
Eddie has come on brilliantly and has done me proud and it's given me a real incentive to improve myself.
Can't wait for 2015 season to begin.
