Hi all,i signed on this forum becouse i want to ask what i can't usually find on internet So first...i finded about my crazy love to horses a long time ago,but i never thought about it seriously,so now i did my research and thought that i would love to go to a horse riding school.(My parents aren't actually interested at horses and they took me riding only a phew times, even if they know how much i love horses and how much i want to learn to ride:().So the best offer for a riding school for me is 350Lt's(thats my country money 1 euro is like 3.45lt's)and its 10 riding lessons in a month, plus learning to care for a horse. But my mum didnt say what she clearly means(and i hate that, couse they never say straight to me what they both think)So well as i sayd i have a little money and i think of paying atleast half of the month fee(becouse i don't have much) OR buying some riding equipment if my parents will FULLY agree(really scared for a no tho:-[)to let me ride there. SO im going to it straight-my mum sayd THOUSANDS of excuises:
1. It's cinda expensive(but as i sayd that i will half pay atleast for a month of all those lessons)
2. It's dangerous. MY THOUGHTS: EVERY SPORT IS DANGEROUS
3. I won't have time for school and homework.------ I wanna ask you guys about this one
4. It's a little far and i will need to take two buses rides at once and walk a little too(but i am old enough right,13 years old, even 10 year olds take busses?!)
5. i will need equipment... For now i atleast want to try it for one month i dont think i will need special ones for the first month right..?
Well and acttualy the truth is,my parents think i just have a 'horse crazy' period well like, that im gonna stop loving horses or so and this will be a waste BUT IT'S NOT TRUE So yeah all my questions are
Horse riding school:
Is it really dangerous and a waste of time/money?
Does it take a lot of time? How much time do beginners spend there?
Bus rides aren't a problem?Or is there another solution?
Should i understand my mum opinion and give up?Or try again and talk to my dad(cuz i'm not sure what he thinks about all this couse i didin't tell him and i thought mum did....)
Is there any other solution for me riding?Like just coming to stables every month with my parents and have a riding lesson?(My parents won't probably let me ride more often than once a month)
Thanks for helping:-* ~Begginer horse lover Aiste
P.S I need as much info and advice i can get <3
