I have been looking at these today and debating whether to try one. Do they work and if so does anyone have any recommendations?
I was looking at Lincoln ultimate groomers and Furminators mainly...dog one as way cheaper than the horse version, but very open to suggestions on anything that works well.

I won the Lincoln thing and tried it on m but wasn't fussed much on it just seemed to scrape though might give it another go now he's shedding better. Think I'd rather have a rubber curry though the hair does get everywhere! Hate the bristle brushes getting clogged up!

Hadnt heard of them so had a look on ebay, not that fussed for getting one, I think keeping a rug on until the sun shines, whipping it off then putting it back on as soon as the evening chill approaches gets the hair out quicker than anything and Ive also found letting them have a good old roll in the sand and rubber of my school does the best job of all so if you can incorporate a small sandy area in your turnout to encourage them to roll there then nature does its job for you. I also have one of those jellies which I love but find the tack shops rarely stock them. All mine have just hairy bellies now and some thin areas of fuzz.

Brig, Roly and Zbrave still firmly in their winter woollies! but they are thinning out! it must be the native that encourages them to retain hair! Chompy and Dexter are shedding much more readily than the other two. I have the Lincoln groomer and it is amazing how much hair comes out with it.

Lucky you Brig, mine are both hairy monsters still, especially Harry.
