More than five years ago Paco contracted ringworm from a club horse. I treated it and it disappeared quickly. However, since then, he has had a 'hole' in his mane where the hair does not really grow. It is not entirely bald but there is a small patch where the hair is spbottom. He seems often to rub at it and the hair comes out easily.
Is there any ointment I can rub on to encourage the hair to grow again?

They used to put cornucrescine on bald spots to encourage growth but its thick and yellowy and looks a mess so maybe not for a grey/white horse. What about some of that Alpecin caffeine shampoo for human baldies?

Yes i remember using cornucrescine for hair growth as well as hoof growth too! Sorry to be cobottom but looks like you've had your fingers up your bum afterwards too...makes your nails grow though!
