The teenager is away for a few days so I thought it would be a good time to remind Paco that he also hacks alone after months of having R or Sam along too. He wasn't best pleased but actually behaved really well - there was just one moment in the woods where he didn't fancy going on past the turning for home so I was firm and he quickly gave in.

The test will be on Saturday when he will have to load into the trailer alone for a TREC fun day with my little group. He has been angelic when there is another horse along, we will see how he copes solo.

Fingers crossed.
