My amazing generous sharer, L, has arranged a lesson for me with Sylvia Loch, and not only that it will be on Sylvia's schoolmaster Prazia...
Weather permitting it will be next Wednesday.
Excited and scared at the same time

I wrote a response to this but it's disappeared?! Hate it when that happens  It was something along these lines... Soooo jealous! I used to read and re-read her articles in the mid-90s (think it was in Horse & Rider?) about training a young PRE stallion. PREs were fairly uncommon here then and her approach was so softly softly, fascinating to read. We need a full report and lots of photos!! |

pboy, thats right, she did do a whole series of articles about her stallion. It's him I am getting the chance to ride...
she must be a very generous lady to allow others to ride him, I am pretty sure I would find it very difficult

apparently you have to write to Sylvia and she will select only those she is willing to take... dont know what L said to her to pick me, just hope I am up to the challenge

omg, amazing!! sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity! best sharer in the world! does she do private lessons on your own horse - maybe after this you could get a couple of lessons with brave?

Flea she does do private lessons, think it would take 2-3 hours to drive with the trailer which makes a 1hr lesson a whole day activity

Just be careful you don't fall in love with the Spanish horse and finish up with a bigger herd! As I know to my cost the Spanish breed is addictive xx |
