We were only out for 40 minutes this morning in the rain but so happy Pete still sound and happy to march along. Barney was being a twit! Turbo charged leaping about giving H plenty to think about. My boy was lovely and forward going but sensible. Lovely hack. Thanks Petie. And additional good news, his expensive minerals to help him grow good feet are going down a treat with his new food. I had been warned that they are not that palatable so extra happy!  |

It's called Pro hoof from a company called progressive earth. Nearly as dear as the farrier so won't save much on being barefoot! They do put a choccy in the parcel for the human though! Nice touch.

I've used them too - great service. Normally use Natural Horse Supplies but will use whoever is cheapest for Faiths Devils Claw next time we need some.

Great news on the hack and minerals!
Just a thought - Pro-Earth also do a supplement called 'pro-balance' which is cheaper, a quick glance down the ingredient list suggests that it's missing the yea-sacc but has a lot of the other stuff in pro-hoof. I've swapped Pocholo onto that now to save money and he's fine with it. I wouldn't tinker at the moment but it may be worth experimenting once Pete is home, hopefully sound and has a new set of hooves!!
