Have a lot of tat gathered up which is taking up some valuable space in the garage. Was thinking car boot as have bought but haven't sold on eBay before. What do you do? Is eBay very time consuming?

Setting up your auctions can be a faff but its relatively easy after that. Just be careful to keep track of your charges as ebay have a tendency to get expensive if you are selling something worth more than 99p!

I'd say a horsey car boot (if they exist where you are DB) is easier as, as Spotti says, ebay charges can mount up and don't forget you have to parcel everything up and send it off .....

Also ebay are now proposing to charge commission on postage too (i think 10% was banded about) if their ever hiking fees and paypal fees etc are not already enough! Ebay use to be a great but now it's just flippin expensive as a seller.
