As the title says I am not a happy bunny  This forum was built up by a bunch of friends who wanted to stay in contact when another forum became difficult to access for a lot of people. The paddocks has grown into a friendly and supportive forum where we have welcomed new members with open arms. However this last few days/week a rather nasty taste has been left in my mouth courtesy of several smiting fairies who appear to be working overtime. Okay for the record incase anyone is not aware Exhalt = good and gives karma
Smite = Bad and takes Karma (it is also rather rude) If you have a problem with a member or a comment they make surely it is best to contact that person directly or if you prefer via one of the Admin team rather than an anonymous act of spite??? Speaking of which it may come as a bit of a surprise to some that it is not anonymous to all...so beware smiting fairies Big Brother is watching you  I would also like to remind all members that by by joining The paddocks you are accepting and agreeing to abide by the forums rules thepaddocks.proboards85.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=1Thank you |

Its sad that this post has had to be done. I have been on the recieving end last few days and its not very nice  But hopefully this will clear a few things up in case they are genuine mistakes!  |

I trust the members on this forum, if someone has something to say they usually just come right out and say it.  If someone sneaks in to cause havoc...well it just won't work...I love this place too much to let anyone ruin it for me. And many thanks again to Haffy and Ceej for starting it and thanks to everyone involved with maintaining it.  |

Gnuton, you know you are smited if the number of your karma is reduced. I have to agree with Gnuton, that it could be done in error. I always write really fast (as can be seen by all my spelling mistakes and words left out) and I can easily believe that I could hit the smite button instead of the exalt and not even realise it. I don't know if I have but if I did I'm really sorry, it was meant to give someone a karma not take it away.
Everyone seems really genuine and nice on the forum although we all have different opinions from time to time (and why not ) . So I have to agree with gnuton- and thanks to Haffy and Ceej from me too

It is true - it is possible to smite in error and I did so to racaille once!!! But Haffy is talking about multiple smiting... All in all though this is still a very happy place and a couple of little upstarts (who are probably the same person!) aren't going to be taking that away anytime soon!  |

I don't even think I really know how to send a Karma - have received a few but not that hi-tech unfortunately - will prob work this out eventually. Some tw*ts about!! |

When I got smited Haffy was very nice about it and let me know, so if anyone else has been smited contact admin just incase it is still a serial-smiter! Anyhoo, it will take more than a few smites to get me off this forum! Not gonna get rid of me that easily! |
