So hope they both come good soon. It would be lovely to see you at the weekend but totally understand that you need to be with Pete.

Pete is sound now, still got a huge hole in his foot which has caused his hoof wall to flare out worryingly. I have spoken to my poor long suffering farrier and he is not worried although he hasn't seen the foot yet. Put manuka honey in the poultice last three days. Going to do dry ones tomorrow and Monday, farrier Tuesday. Come on Pete lets get back on track! He seemed really depressed this morning H said when she brought him in. Was fine when I got there. Finally he prefers me to see to him??? Trotted him up in his cavallo and he was sound and enthusiastic. Everything crossed for Tuesday. Good vibes please for both of us!

Ruddy hell, there's an epidemic. And today I'm wondering if Sam is brewing one .... farrier coming tomorrow.
