Please Faith is way too hot under her big fur coat in this heat and I'm seriously considering giving her a hair cut to help cool her down. There have been a few times over the years when I've almost considered clipping but generally shes not in enough work to warrant going naked or the weather turns cold and horrid again before I make a decision, but this time I think a trace/bib/blanket clip might be just the ticket! Poor pony has been voluntarily staying indoors for the past week as its just too hot for her outside (even with regular cool showers and lots of trees to hide under). I don't think she's ever been clipped before (except a tiny patch where her microchip went in) so I have no idea how she will take to the process but I reckon if the clippers are quiet enough and it's me doing the clipping (and not a stranger - she doesn't like strangers) then she will be ok. Soooo does anyone know of some good clippers that are quiet and won't cost me a small fortune? (Bearing in mind this could well be one of only a handful of times we use them) Any recommendations much appreciated!
