ive got weatherbeeta ones which are smart and soft but are stiff- a lot of horses dont like the rigidity. also, theyre not wide enough for her chunky legs, so i have to use other soft ones from ebay!!
leather headcollar should be used as it will break easier i an emergency, and dont forget baler twine on the tie ring and opn the back bar if you intend to tie up, as it will snap before your horses neck will!
if its chilly use a fleece as it can be draughty in trailers, but check he doesnt overheat. if its raining, put on a lightweight outdoor rug instead incase the rain comes in the back above the ramp and wets his bum
use a tail bandage or wrap to prevent it getting caught or rubbed too.
use a poll guard if hes tall and likely to bang his head, and wear boots and gloves when you lead in the trailer incase he rushes in ect
i would def use trvel boots, as if you have to stop fast ect you risk overreach injuries, theres a lot less suspension in trailers than cars. better to be safe than sorry!
that sounds like a lot but just go enjoy it! x

Just get plain ones that arent a specific make. e.g. just the waterproof type outer and the fleecy inside with velcro straps. Ive seen powder monkey ones that are just fleecy - not worth the material theyre made of.

mine are amigo - pink ones - they are fab. I have used mine at least 3-4 times a week I reckon and have had them since last November and they still look good as new.
Raymond did rip one bit of velcro off, but that was when the lorry got hit so I will let him off. I re attached it with nylon thread though and it is fine.
They are a really good fit and wrap round the legs well.

I would recommend Mark Todd ones. Really tough and durable, with leather patch on heel, plus they look good! love mine!

Hehe, so true about the computers. Mine is definately male. Male, old & senile!
I've got Derby House travelling boots that are now 5 years old & still looking good. I also was given a set of the Horseware Amigo travel boots. They're nice, but only just go round Warrior's legs & he's a middleweight hunter type.
