What do you all wear? I'm currently looking for a new waterproof riding coat for summer, have tried the outdoor shops like trespass but a lot of the styles have a rounded bit at the bottom of the back of the coat to keep your bum warm but im thinking id probably end up strangling myself on the coat if i tried to ride in one like that lol! Im not really fussed on if it has vents at the back or not, just that its quite roomy so my body protector can go under it.
I dont really like those ones with the elasticated bit at the bottom of the coat, prefer just a normal style.
Something good value, good quality, pref not too dear.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I live in my Mark Todd jacket. It has survived two winters so far and I love it so much. I have the lightweight one and find that I only need a hoodie underneath to keep me warm in winter but is great in summer for keeping cool.

I like the Horseware Corrib and I'm currently wearing a Sherwood jacket thats designed for riding and you can zip a fleece under it too.

I've been really pleased with my Mountain Horse jacket, not expensive as on sale just about everywhere. I like long enough jackets to cover my bum and I bought it large enough to take a huge fleece underneath (I got it for a trip to Iceland) and so that the sleeves do not ride up when I stretch forward.

Ive just bought this one, its similar to the one I have at the minute actually. www.saddlery.biz/brand/horseware-clothing/horseware-lexington-unisex-jacket.htmlI got it in red, its not as bright as the pic thank god lol and the small size is plenty big enough for wearing jumpers and body protectors underneath. It seems pretty good, nice and lightweight, and great value. Only thing is that it doesnt have a hood for when youre on the yard or tramping about somewhere. Will see how it goes. Thanks for all the suggestions!
