Suddenly having a second horse that was totally unplanned I had to buy a couple of rugs (due to the wonderfull summer we are having!!) and Derbyhouse had a sale on so I got a rain sheet for Dude and couldn't help myself getting a 100g full neck stable rug for Nobes, well the stable rug has arrived no sign of the other rug despite being promised it on the 17th and the quality is rubbish. It is oversized and the fittings are really cheap and nasty, I bought Dude a 180g Shires off ebay for only £2 dearer and the difference is massive I am hoping when his turnout rug arrives (eventually) its a bit better. Just thought I would let you know next time I wont be buying there own brand even if it is in the sale!

I bought a H/W DH combo rug in their sale for £35 and I would have been seriously disappointed if I'd paid full price! Not that good and not a good fit.

They have a really bad reputation for not delivering when they say they would. Despite having some good deals going on I doubt id be using them.

I won't be using them again I don't think, the rug arrived today after ordering it on the 10th of June. Just in time for a heatwave!!!!

Thats such a shame- Ive just got one of their own brand leather headcollars for Harriet from ebay and its gorgeous, really good quality, mind you the rugs will be supplied from china but the leather probably american or indian,so cant compare but you would think their quality control would be better.

It's funny you should say that derby house have been rubbish - we've had nothing but goo service, quick delivery and decent enough for the price rugs (ok so they're not marvellous, but for £25 I can't really complain too much). Sorry to hear you've had a rubbish time. Had to chuckle at the rugs arriving just in time for the heat wave!!! Ah well, at least you've got them now for the inevitable rain were likely to get once the sun has had enough of shining
