Took to the road to go exploring this morning weather was supposed to deteriorate as the day went on so we were on our way at 10.15am. Pete and Barney happily plodding along for an hour or so before we headed into new territory. Had a lovely canter through the middle of a huge field. Got a bit lost! Got back at about 1.15pm! Tired but very very happy ponies. They are so good. Love 'em! Still amazed my boy is coping so well.  |

Wonderful- Im using you as inspiration for my current problems with Basil, you didnt give up on Pete despite rough times and I keep thinking about that with my lad.

Thank-you, I know exactly what you mean. The inner turmoil when they are not right is so hard to cope with. I felt like giving up many times. I just knew he was still my dream horse if we could just get back on track. It's his personality more than anything. I love him so much! It's not his fault he had problems and he can't choose a different owner so I can only do my best. Been rewarded ten fold. It has been a voyage of discovery about myself and my resolve too!
