Sorry don't know how you'd describe them in English ... those saddle with only one flap rather than two?
I've been trying saddles for P and had a lovely Prestige, nice fit on him ..... but I hated it. I felt I couldn't feel him at all and I realise that I am too used to my flapless rando saddle where my legs are next to his flank. Am thinking I should try a mono-quartier but they are very expensive in France.
Are there any Uk ones that you guys can recommend?

dunno about treed but most more unconventional looking treeless come with just a single flap (girth straps come out the bottom of it) or can come in the no skirted models, which i assume is what your rando saddle is like...just a seat and the bit where stirrups come from?

Freeform saddles are technically just the one flap...they are obviously treeless but are ever so comfy (I'm so sad that mine is for sale)

They are big here, but we are talking Devoucoux etc But I have worked out something about the Prestige - it's a slight jumping cut (which I want) but I rode it at my normal stirrup length (quite long) which meant my leg wasn't fitting around the taquets (the raised lumps?) properly, but OVER the rear one as I didn't have my leg bent at jumping angle. Would have been fine like that. However, the seat was ruddy hard (and in this I KNOW I'm spoilt). I know when you're jumping you're lightly out of the seat but still..... I think I'm going to have save up some pennies and get a Forestier .......
