Beach riding

Chompy's two aunties and I have all got places to ride the Marches around Edinburgh again, and this time I really fancy going to the pub afterwards and rather than making the OH hang around all day, then drag Chompy home on his own I have decided to hire a horse.

So L, C and I are all off to Harelaw on Sunday to try a few horses and after Zara's positive comments I am taking Jester (Who Zara rode last year) out on a two hour beach ride to get a feel for him, L will be riding Major (who she rode 2 years ago) on Sunday, but he is booked for the ride and most of the other 'big' horses are out on another common ride so she will get what she is given in September and nutter that she is, she has no problem with that. And we are getting an unknown for C on Sunday.

Cant wait, will be very odd to ride something else but gallops on the beach will be fun!
