Wondering whether Sam (or Pig as he is often known  ) will need a rain sheet. It doesn't (normally) rain a lot here but when it does, it comes down hard. He has such a soft, baby skin (aaaaaahhhhh) ....... What do you think? |

Are you thinking for turnout or hacking? PE do a waterproof fly sheet- think it may be the only one on the market, otherwise it may be really difficult to manage as he would get too hot otherwise? Tricky!

It is for turnout Brig. In fact, you make a good point about heat so breathability is key. He's in a WB Landa at night and it fits him well so I've just ordered (but the teenager has paid for) a WB Airflow combo for him as it has a belly flap and that seems to be where he is most sensitive. We only have midges at the moment but when the taons come he'll be grateful! We've talked about rain and have realised that if it's warm he can get wet and if it's not, he can have an existing rug on since I have quite a lot of them! |
