My old dog has begun to not want to come hacking with Paco and I. She doesn't refuse, she is too obedient, but she makes it clear that she is feeling too tired/old. It makes hacking a very different thing. I miss her jolly jingling bell and her joyful skippety way. I think Paco misses her too as he has been jolly sharp and spooky these last two outings without her.

Awh that's such a shame. My dog Jake has just began slowing down, he's never accompanied me on hacks (he's too scared of the horses for that!) but he isn't as lively on walks these days. He starts trying to head home after 10 minutes

I love taking a dog hacking but sadly we have too many roads nearby. Poor old girl obviously is feeling it a bit, is she missing your boxer? Maybe another pooch is needed..................

that must be a bit odd, I cant trust the dogs to go hacking with them as they are a bit lunatic, too scared of the horses to stay close and too interested in the rabbits and deer to listen
