Little Big Man aka Toudle had his first grown up outing today with his young rider. There is a nice riding instructor who we know some twenty miles away. He is excellent with kids but his yard is a nightmare, odd shaped school, poles and obstacles everywhere, flappy stuff and horses next to school. so we thought it would be a great idea to box him up and take him for a lesson there! It worked brilliantly, he was a bit jumpy but safe, really listening to his rider, who rode the best Ive seen and finally discovered her legs to support rather than flap..... The achieved some lovely trot and really lovely canters on both reins.
Onwards to PC I hope. good LBM!

He's a brilliant little man isn't he...and don't they all love bananas? Mine will do anything (almost!) for them.

Aww good little big man (we also have one of those . Are you going to keep him? Can you PM me the name of the instructor, if the bugs results come back clear I'll be wanting some lessons and the only places near us are either "beat it til it behaves" or so posh that they follow you with a pooper scoop and a brush just in case :0. And tbh he sounds like my kind of instructor Haf - Daints and Brax won't touch bananas, the others stick them in sideways and munch, apart from Chip who is very delicate .
