Well i'm back to that old chestnut sadly, first time in several months so OH walked with me and i'm glad he did. Had a bad start as the new family were taking dogs and unruley kids a walk just as we set off, so had yappy dog and kids on bikes who kept getting fairly close and Murph slowly got more and more upset. To be fair parents tried shouting kids but yeah well the kids didn't listen, enough said on my part i think. So Oh had to take Harry for a while as Murph started being silly and bucking (his automatic response to anything exciting or scarey ) Once we got to top of lane and away from them i took back over and both were very good boys right until the gate home from across the common, which we avoided on way out. Harry, in his rush to get home, tried to barge through (OH opened it) and then tried to dash off towards home. Murph was getting upset again as i was having to yank Harry to try and get him back to me and Murph, as well as being a general pain in the bum, is very sensitive to weight and was very confused as to what i wanted him to do whilst harry was trying to tow me off so Oh had to grapple with Harry again. After a few strides he settled and i led him home again. All in all not bad for a first time in ages...and neither had been ridden for two weeks because of snow...but i think i may have to try and find someone to ride Harry all the same.

I take my hat off to you for persevering - it doesn't sound easy. I don;t think I'd have the courage/patience to take Racaille ....
One thing though - have you tried Harry in a Be Nice halter? I know I bang on about them but it might teach him not to pull.
